22/05/2025 Cuddington Croft Primary

2️⃣ Year 2 have completed their Spring project all about habitats. After experimenting with different ways we could represent the habitat (through sketching, colour mixing and experimenting with texture), we worked in threes to create a backdrop for a documentary about our chosen habitat. Using our research over the last few weeks, we then planned, rehearsed and delivered our nature documentary for the class.

🐜🐍 Cuddington Croft were lucky to have a Zoolab visit this week! ✨ Nursery thoroughly enjoyed our visit from Zoolab today. We got to learn lots of new facts about different insects and reptiles. We were very brave when holding and stroking these animals. 2️⃣ As part of their learning about animals’ habitats this half term, Year 2 had a visit from Zoolab! We found out all about the giant African land snail which has two noses, the tarantula which is actually very fragile, the millipede which has two pairs of legs per joint on its body and the corn snake which is a constrictor. Lots of us showed our 6C of courage, either stroking or holding these creatures.

6️⃣ Year 6 are having a great week! To celebrate and reward their hard work after their tests each morning, they’ve been having endless fun. They’ve played games outside, enjoyed quizzing and today, they took part in Taskmaster style challenges! One more to go 💪
